La Rosiere is the sleeping giant of the French Alps and has everything the discerning skier could ask for, plus you can ski and lunch in Italy whenever you like - we'd recommend heading to the mountain restaurant of La Clotze, which even has a swimming pool. 

Built on the south facing side of the mountain at 1850 meters, La Rosiere is a glorious sun trap of a resort that has a good snow record. The North facing side of the mountain is the Italian resort of La Thuile, which hosts the Italian national ski championships and offers some of the best wide black runs in the entire Alps (generally very quiet so keep it a secret!).
